Guidelines and recommendations

The guidelines endorsed by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) clarify and illustrate with concrete examples the new legal framework resulting from the GDPR. 

The CNIL guidelines complement those adopted at European level by the EDPB, with elements for interpreting the texts. The recommendations are practical guides to inform of the applicable rules.
